What will you find in the Avenida da Liberdade apartments?
Avenida da Liberdade apartments are divided into three types so that we can serve your needs with maximum efficiency. Studios with an area of 50 m² and capacity to accommodate up to three people are available; the T1 apartments, with an area of 60 m² and capacity for up to four guests; and, finally, at 80 m², the T2 apartments, which can accommodate up to six people.
In all accommodations, you will have a kitchenette equipped with a dishwasher, stove, refrigerator, oven, toaster, electric kettle, coffee machine and basic utensils. Nothing is missing for your meals! You will also have access to a modern private bathroom (two, in the case of T2 apartments) with a shower, hairdryer and toiletries.
If you are thinking that, in this area, you may have trouble finding a parking place, you can rest assured. The Avenida da Liberdade apartments building has private parking (subject to availability and payment). If you need to store your luggage outside of your stay-time, you can use our lockers located on the 3rd floor (lower level) of the building. After all, we know that small luxuries count.
A stroll down the Avenue
Avenida da Liberdade apartments offer you privileged access to the city’s most pulsating arteries. Connecting the Marquês de Pombal and Praça dos Restauradores, there is a lot to explore and get lost in.
One of the avenue’s main attraction points is the multiplicity of stores. Being synonymous with refinement and charm, all brands aim to occupy this spot. However, this street does not contain only luxury stores.
While going up or down Avenida da Liberdade, you will certainly feel that you are in a special place, where many important chapters of history are inscribed. By this stage you will have passed, and continue to pass, parades, demonstrations, parties and even the famous Popular Marches, which on the night of June 12 celebrate the city’s patron saint, Santo António, dressing the street in colour, music, glow and local tradition.
Avenida da Liberdade: in the centre of everything
Amidst the vibrant gardens, adorned with small ponds and several statues, you will discover some of the most dynamic cultural spaces in the city. We speak of remarkable places like Cinema São Jorge, with its doors open to the seventh art since 1946, to elevate our spirit and cultivate our imagination.
Here, too, we find the Tivoli theatre. Created in 1924, its programming was, at the time, almost exclusively dedicated to cinema. However, this beautiful room, designed by architect Raul Lino, quickly established itself as one of the most important and versatile stages in Lisbon. Almost a century later, it remains a must-see for artists from all areas: from music to ballet, through to magic or, of course, theatre.
All roads take us to Praça do Marquês
In all cities, there are places where the heartbeat becomes stronger. In Lisbon, this place is Praça do Marquês de Pombal, two steps from the Avenida da Liberdade apartments. Inaugurated in 1934, this imposing monument became the gravitational centre of Lisbon life, close to the most important access roads and public transport network (including two subway lines right at the door).
The statue of Marquês de Pombal gazes towards Pombalina Downtown, his masterpiece. This is, above all, a tribute to the figure who spearheaded the process of planning and reconstructing the city after the traumatic earthquake of 1755. The statesman was immortalized here with his hand resting on the head of a lion, a classic symbol of power.
Right next to the Avenida da Liberdade apartments, you will also find Parque Eduardo VII. Consisting of green and wooded areas, this ample space is ideal for a peaceful stroll. Take some time to visit the viewpoint located on the northern top, where you will have the opportunity to be dazzled by a breathtaking view of the city, with the magical Tagus River as a backdrop.

All our apartments have service and help-desk open 24/7. Our buildings have a team that is present in the building 365 days a year, who in addition to the daily maintenance of your apartment will be available to help you (these services are included in the daily rate).
The apartments are fully furnished with bed and bath linen, as well as appliances and kitchen utensils. All apartments benefit from a daily cleaning service that includes the change of bed and bath linen after 3 nights, or when necessary. The daily cleaning service does not include cleaning the kitchen, washing the dishes or treating clothes. If the kitchen needs to be cleaned, this service will be charged for an additional cost of € 25.00 /day. We have an optional laundry service.
The apartments are equipped with all the amenities for a pleasant stay. Everything is strictly inventoried. Nothing may be removed from the apartment. Any missing or damaged items will be charged to the client at market price plus a fee of € 30.00/item to cover replacement costs.
The apartments have dozens of cable channels (varies depending on location). If your apartment has a box, you must tune the HDMI on the TV and then turn on the receiver and choose the desired channel. If your apartment does not have a box, just choose the channels using your own command.
In addition to traditional commerce, there are always supermarkets very close to the buildings. It is also possible to get a home delivery service by choosing from a menu from an endless list of restaurants. Optionally, you can also request purchases for your stay, even being possible to have all your purchases done when you arrive at the apartment!
Check-in & Check-out
Check-in is done from 14:00h, and Check-out must be until 12:00h. During the booking period, you can enter the apartment at any time. Arrivals before 14:00 (‘early check-in’), or departures after 12:00 (‘late checkout’), are possible subject to availability at an additional cost of 40% on the published daily rate for the apartment.
The building has several Wi-Fi hotspots. Access is free. The access code can be found at the entrance to the apartment.
On-street parking is normally paid for and is usually secure. However, we suggest the usual care in this type of situation. Please be advised that certain areas have parking meters and are for limited duration parking. Check the map for the nearest covered car parks
All our apartments are non-smoking. If you do not comply with the smoking ban, a €100.00 cleaning and odor removal fee will be charged.
